Update, 4:45 p.m. — Back to normal ! It is now possible to select one or more options and add it to the basket. Be careful though, delivery times are expensive, with dates around the beginning of July.
Original post — Since 2 p.m., it is now possible to order the first machine equipped with the new M2 chip. While waiting for the MacBook Air which will be available in July, it is therefore the 13-inch MacBook Pro which has this honor. But you’re better off wanting a base model: right now, most memory and storage options are grayed out and can’t be added to cart.
In terms of options, it is obviously only possible to order a model with 1 TB of storage and 24 GB of memory (the other big novelty of this MacBook Pro), at a price of €2,519 for delivery between 25 July and August 1. Other options, such as 16 GB of memory and 2 TB SSD, are not available.
At the end of the day, Apple currently only offers three versions of the MacBook Pro, the base one at €1,599 (8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage), the high-end at €1,829 € (8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage), and this 1 TB/24 GB version.
