Amazon has shaken up its line of Eero mesh Wi-Fi systems with two new models and a price drop for the others. The first novelty is an Eero Pro 6E model which, as its name suggests, also hooks Wi-Fi 6E. In other words, the router takes advantage of the 6 GHz band in addition to the traditional 2.4 and 5 GHz.

The box can support up to a hundred devices simultaneously, with performance up to 2.3 Gb/s (1 Gb/s wired, 1.3 Gb/s wireless). It also includes two Ethernet ports (1 and 2.5 Gb). A single device is enough to cover up to 190 square meters, and if we put two more we will cover 560 m2. The unit costs €359, the set of 3 units €839.

Another novelty that is placed at the other end of the price range, the Eero 6+. For €149, the router offers coverage of 140 m2 (420 m2 with three units sold for €329) for a total of 75 devices simultaneously. Each enclosure includes two 1 Gb Ethernet ports.

Finally, the prices of the other two models in the range have been revised downwards: €229 for the Eero Pro 6 – which benefits from an additional discount of €171 –, and €119 for the Eero 6 currently sold 89 €.
