Chrome celebrates version 100 with a new icon for macOS and iOS

Google has kept its word: the Chrome icon has been refreshed, on both Mac and iOS, thanks to version 100 of the browser. The differences are subtle, it’s not the big night for this icon now well anchored on the Finder, the dock and / or the home screen of our devices.

On macOS.

At the beginning of February, Google warned its users of the change, stating that the application icon would adapt to the system on which it is used. Thus, the Chrome beta icon on iOS (you must be a beta tester and install the app from TestFlight, but there is no more space available) is all blue, reminiscent of the Developer app icon from Apple.
