Since the release of macOS Monterey and iOS 15, if you have a paid iCloud+ plan — chances are you do since the free plan is still limited to 5 GB — you have the Private Relay and Hide My E-mail adress.

Private Relay enhances your privacy on Safari by hiding your IP address and browsing activity by routing your connection through two separate relays. There is a downside: this service, which is still in beta, is likely to cause problems with certain websites, which may require an additional step for connection, for example.

As for the function to hide your email address, it allows you to instantly generate random addresses that return to your personal inbox.
