It’s one of our little traditions at hitek : every week, we share with you the next one (or ones) free game available on theEpic Games Store. This time, we are logically tackling the week extending from Thursday 16 to Thursday 23 June 2022. If you still have until 5 p.m. today to recover Maneater and climbing the food chain, it’s a whole different but just as good game that will be waiting for you next!

An offer not to be missed

It’s been years now thatEpic Games offers one or more totally free games every week for all Epic Games Launcher users. An offer which has the enormous advantage of do not require any form of subscription, unlike the “free” games offered to Playstation Plus members on the Sony side. If a few weeks ago, Epic had been particularly generous in offering players to recover the remastered trilogy of Bioshockgames all more cult than the other, this time it will be necessary to be satisfied withonly one game, less known but devilishly well rated: Supra Land !

An adventure and puzzle game with multiple inspirations

When we go to the page of Supra Land on the Epic Games Store, the first thing you notice is that the developers at Supra Games loudly claim their greatest video game inspirations. First, we clearly find a colorful atmosphere à la Zelda, the famous Nintendo license having obviously also greatly inspired the adventure side of the title, which offers fighting as well as a small RPG dimension. It’s up to you to unlock better equipment to crush your opponents more easily and to obtain new abilities that will allow you to unlock new passages previously inaccessible, testifying this time to the influence of the cult Metroid series.

But Zelda-style adventure games aren’t just about fighting. No, we also find there many puzzles, which will be at the heart of the experience here, Supra Land being presented above all as a first-person puzzle-game, inspired by the very good Portal and Portal 2 of Valve. The software promises a good lifespan (about 12 hours for the main quest), which could well double if you decide to continue exploring “a world still harboring secrets”. In short, a game that focuses above all on reflection, exploration and discovery and who has the good idea to be able to run on many configurations, Supra Land not being particularly greedy. As a reminder, you can scour it between Thursday June 16 and Thursday June 23 at 5 p.m.
