The first “real” photos of the new MacBook Air are beginning to bloom on the web. Journalists from The Verge and TechCrunch present in Cupertino had the chance to photograph these new machines in preview. The computer obviously inherits a good redesign, and the screen has a notch to enlarge the surface of the screen (13.6 “). The borders are thinner, while the brightness increases from 400 nits to 500 nits.

The format has changed, with a new design that approximates the shapes of the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros. The youngest is a little lighter, with only 1.24 kg against 1.29 kg on the M1 version. Four colors are available: Midnight, Starlight, Space Gray and Silver.

Big news: the MagSafe port is back! It sits above the two USB-C ports, so the laptop can be charged while the two ports are being used for something else. On the other side, the jack has (fortunately) not disappeared.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on them, know that these machines will be available next month.
