The 22-year-old international still has to pass the medical examination before signing his contract and being presented on Tuesday at 12 p.m. at the Santiago-Bernabeu Stadium.
A transfer of 80 million euros, excluding bonuses
Currently in selection with the France team, Tchouaméni is the only player in Didier Deschamps’ group to have started in the first three matches of the Blues (Denmark, Croatia and Austria) in Group 1 of the League of Nations. Didier Deschamps’ men play a last meeting on Monday at the Stade de France against Croatia, before facing Austria and Denmark again in September to conclude this group stage of the League of Nations.
Arrived in Monaco from Bordeaux in January 2020 for a transfer of 20 million euros, Tchouaméni leaves the club of the Principality against, according to various sources very close to the file, 80 million euros, to which are added 20 million euros in the form of various bonuses. According to these same sources, Monaco must pay back 10% of the capital gain made in Bordeaux, or 6 million euros, excluding bonuses.
