LG 24″ UltraFine 4K monitor: price drop continues to €629

The price of the LG 24″ UltraFine 4K monitor continues to drop. Sold for €668 last week, it’s now €629 on Amazon, which is €120 off its normal price.

This LG 24MD4KL-B is still more expensive than the average for a 4K screen, but it has several advantages to highlight: it is the only one with a 24″ diagonal available at the moment (practical for small spaces and higher resolution to 27″ 4K screens), it has excellent image quality, it is natively controllable from macOS and it has advanced connectivity (two Thunderbolt 3 ports and three USB-C ports). Its weak points: an austere design, no webcam and complicated operation with PCs.

Its big brother, the 27″ UltraFine 5K, has been back in stock for just over a week. It retails for around $1,200. It’s pricey, but not as much as the Studio Display. from Apple, the only other 5K monitor on the market.
