Launched last October, the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro caused a sensation, thanks to their mini-LED and ProMotion screens, but also and above all by the breathtaking performance of the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Unfortunately, these new laptops have less fun bankers, these machines are not particularly cheap.
Things could change: Apple has indeed supplied the US refurb with MacBook Pro M1! The base 14-inch model (M1 Pro 8-core CPU, 14-core GPU), normally priced at $1,999, slips to $1,799. The version with 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU costs $2,249 instead of $2,499.
16-inch MacBook Pros are also on offer: the 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU M1 Pro is $2,249 (compared to the usual $2,499), while the 10-core CPU and 32-core GPU M1 Max model is $3,149 instead of $3,499. In short, these are discounts that range from $200 to $350, in the nails of what the refurb usually offers.
New products from US refurb generally cross the Atlantic after a few days to a few weeks. Patience is therefore required, but for those who would like to save it could be a good solution. We will have to watch the French refurb closely!
