Belkin Connect Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock Mini-Review

The Apple M1 chip has many good qualities, but also the flaw of being unable to handle more than one pair of Thunderbolt ports. The dongles and others hubs have become essential accessories for MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13″, Mac mini, and other 24″ iMacs. A single Thunderbolt port can thus become a dozen other ports, as shown by Belkin’s new Connect Pro Thunderbolt 4 docking station.

Even though the two standards are increasingly merging, Thunderbolt ports are still more capable than USB-C ports. Belkin’s product is not just a hub USB, although it offers two USB 3.1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports in USB-A format on the back, as well as a USB 3.1 port in USB-C format on the front.
