Orange will not only unveil the Livebox 6 on Wednesday April 6. According to our information, the incumbent operator will also launch a new, larger and more expensive fixed offer, called Livebox Max, which will be the only one to include the new box.

The current Livebox Up Fiber subscription at €49.99/month (first year at €30.99/month) will remain as is: Livebox 5 with 2 Gbit/s shared downlink and 600 Mbit/s uplink, Wi-Fi repeater 6 on request, 4K UHD TV decoder and second decoder on request.

The new Livebox Max offer will stand out on several points. First of all, it will be the only one to include the Livebox 6, Orange’s first box compatible with Wi-Fi 6. This has already been widely fanned: positioned vertically by default, it will have a small screen E-Ink touchscreen, a 2.5 Gb/s RJ45 port and four 1 Gb/s ports.
