Preview of Stage Manager on macOS Ventura: a new way to organize your windows

At WWDC 2022, Apple presented a new version of macOS called Ventura. The big novelty this year is Stage Manager, a function allowing you to better focus on an application. Let’s see how it all fits together.

Stage Manager activates in the Control Center, which is located next to the date in the menu bar. When you activate the function, the windows stack on the left of the screen in a kind of secondary Dock. The desktop and all your misplaced files disappear so you can focus on what’s important: the application in the foreground.

A hell of a blow!

This function will highlight a single application: perfect for followers of minimalism who do not want a dozen open windows. The window will be placed in the center of the screen, but you can move it, resize it and even hide the stack of windows (just place your cursor at the edge of the screen to bring it back). One can then alternate between the open programs by simply clicking on them.
